This cricket ball is made from genuine leather. The core of a cricket ball is traditionally made up of between three and five alternating layers of wrapped cork strips and very tightly wound string. These two elements combine to ensure both bounces and shape the ball. The Match Red is a good quality Four pieces cricket ball made from good quality Vegetable tanned leather. The outer layer of a cricket ball is constructed from quality leather which has been cut into 4 pieces. This High-quality cricket ball is covered with thin layers of polish to give the ball its familiar shine. Good quality center construction encased with layers of top quality Plastic cork wound with 100 % wool. The Match Red is ideally suited for club and school matches, Water-proofed.
